North Side Baptist

Emerge is a mission trip designed to impact the community of Greenwood (Sunday, July 27th - Friday, August 1st). North Side Baptist Church (NSBC) will be partnering with South Main Baptist Church (SMBC) on this exciting, new venture. Students (rising 7th -12th grades) will serve on one of three tracts: children's ministry (sports camps), construction, and social ministry (community clean up, nursing home visitation, homeless ministry, etc.). Students will serve on their tracts all day and then come back together at night for dinner, celebration, and late night activities. Guys will be sleeping in the FLC at NSBC and girls will be sleeping in the FLC at SMBC.

The camp only cost $100. A $50 deposit is due by Sunday, July 6th along with signed copies of the NSBC Release Form, Registration Form, and Emerge Guidlines Form. Registration will begin Sunday, July 27th at 5:00 pm at NSBC. Once students are dropped off at NSBC, they are not allowed to leave unless they turn in an Emerge Departure Form signed by a parent. All parents and anyone in the Greenwood community are invited to join us Friday evening at 8:00 pm in the FLC for the closing celebration. Parents can pick up their students Friday evening after the closing celebration (9:00 pm).

We will need a lot of adult volunteers to pull off this camp. Adults can serve as team leaders, kitchen helpers, tract coordinators, site leaders, etc. We also need experienced carpenters and coaches. For more information on how you can volunteer, check out the website: www.emergegreenwood.com.
