North Side University is a six week series of classes that will begin on Sunday evenings in the summer. North Side University is designed to equip every member of North Side in the foundational truths mentioned above. It is a teaching time. It is not a "new members" class. It is for anyone and everyone.

The Doctrine of Salvation: Jeff Lethco - Chapel
Have you everwondered why you are the way you are? I have. Have you everstruggled with comparing yourself to others? I'm guilty too. Do you know in your mind that God created you for a reason but you haveno clue what it is? If you wantanswers to some of these types of questions, this is the class for you. This class forever changed mylife! It grew my confidence andGod used this program to confirm my call into ministry. To say I have a passion for PLACE is anunderstatement. Though we had aWaypoint conference last March, we have never offered the class in itsentirety. If you have done a PLACEassessment already or if this is brand new to you, I hope you will join me aswe identify your personality, gifts, strengths, and abilities. This is a comprehensive and interactive class. It is designed to clearly communicate why we do what we do, where we feel God is leading us, and why each member has a part to play.
This class is designed to help rising 6th grade students to make the mental, emotional, and spiritual adjustments necessary to thrive in middle school and in the student ministry at NSBC. We will discuss issues such as taking ownership of your faith, making wise choices in friendships, dating/purity, developing spiritual habits(disciples), and finding your PLACE in the student ministry.
