Who You Are in Christ

The Bible teaches that for us who are in Christ:

There is no condemnation for us (Romans 8:1)
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

We can never be separated from God’s love (Romans 8:39)
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor power nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We who are many form one body (Romans 12:5)
For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

We have wisdom from God (1 Corinthians 1:30-31)
And because of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”

We are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

We become God’s children (Galatians 3:26)
But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.

We are light (Ephesians 5:7-8)
Therefore do not become partners with them, for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.

We have glorious riches (Philippians 4:19)
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

We have our hope of glory (Colossians 1:27)
To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

We will rise from the dead (1 Thessalonians 4:16)
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

We can rejoice and give thanks in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

We have faith, hope, and love (1 Timothy 1:1, 14)
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our hope…and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
