February Prayer Guide – Sub-Saharan People
February Prayer Guide
Sometimes it’s hard to know how to pray for the nations and for our missionaries who are serving overseas. So, we want to help equip you as you strive for a more intimate prayer time for people around the world.
North Side is in a partnership to reach the Hausa people. The Hausa people are the largest tribe in Africa whom are 99.9% Muslim. This tribe falls into the IMB’s category of the Sub-Saharan peoples of West Africa.
It’s important for us to pray for specific things over the Sub-Saharan peoples. The International Mission Board has provided a monthly prayer guide to help us as we seek to align our heart with God’s heart for the nations. It takes not only being Christ’s hands and feet, but also prayer to fulfill the Great Commission. The Hausa are praying to a false god, but we can pray to our Father for them.
The picture you see is February’s prayer guide. This month focus’ on health. As you pray for missionary doctors and medical mission teams, we want you to be aware that the missionaries we are in partnership with hold a medical clinic twice a week, where they assist basic needs and give mothers formula for their starving babies. Please pray for our missionaries as they hold this clinic and for the many men, women, children, and babies that come. Pray that their eyes would be opened to the love of Jesus being poured out through the clinic.
